No way, hubby works third shift. I'm alone in the country where the dark is really dark and wild animals roam.

For me it's nothing. I just LOVE horror movies. But sometimes i have nightmares after watching real live gore scenes like man with broken skull or something like that.

No way! I will stay up and watch infomercials for Soft Rock music or watch Comedy Central or something that is funny to get my mind off that scary movie. I am still frightened of the dark and as a result am not good at saving electricity.

Concept wise i believe the one thing that could get anyone prone to the heeby jeebies is Nightmare on Elm Street because of the whole "your dreams kill you" scenario. Slasher movies have got to come next because of the "it could happen factor" especially if you live in the States where things are more realistic because odds are it happened in your neighbourhood. Anyway, I still can't say Bloody Mary in front of the bathroom mirror at midnight and I refuse to play with a spirit board so i do feel movies may have affected me a little bit... hahah

Yes - and no. Depends on the movie. Slash and gore - no problem. 28 days later - I watched one night, and just couldn't get it out of my head.

I could but choose not to. I watch movies for enjoyment and entertainment and I can't get that benefit from scary movies. I do understand that the adrenaline rush is what draws people to see them. No so for me.
