There are many unfortunate people who, naturally or otherwise, have no fingers and therefore no fingerprints, but I don't believe that was the intent of your question.

I believe they can be "scarred" off by various means. I know of no particular individual however.

have mercy love :( forgive me.

Naturally it is an anomalic event, (as in so rare its extremely unlikely,) and those people are about as rare as any other such event.

By other means: yes there are many people without, I have seen in my days a few examples, and not all methods are feasable to say the least, or intelligent.

I do not believe so naturally, but there are criminals who burn or cut off their fingerprints to leave less evidence at crime scenes.

Yes there are people who are born without fingerprints. Two diseases explain this condition.
One is Naegeli syndrome and the other is dermatopathia pigmentosa reticularis (DPR). Defects in the protein keratin 14 may be responsible for both diseases. These people have normal sensitivity in their fingerprints but physical functions, such as dealing cards, is more difficult (probably the surface of the prints are too smooth .... the ridges and whorls on normal fingerprints may be responsible for helping to grip the cards).

Other symptoms related to the lack of fingerprints are more dangerous. For instance most dangerously, they have skin issues that can inhibit their ability to sweat normally. Because they cannot evacuate heat, they can develop heat stroke.

If a person tries to change or destroy their fingerprints by burning them in acid they are unlikely to be successful. You have to burn 7 layers of epidermis and that is very deep. The skin will grow back and if it is damaged in any areas some areas will remain unharmed. That means a fingerprint identification is still possible.
