I was 13, and Dad gave me a try at a game called "Fighter Ace", in the MSN Gaming Zone. (http://www.zone.com) That's when I had my first experience talking with anyone online. A screenname, "DeepDoom" (and some underscores, numbers, and letters I don't remember anymore) caught my eye and deciding to give myself a laugh, I asked him, "Hey, DEEPDOOM, Why is your doom so deep?!?!?!?!?" I believe that line was the first line I've ever communicated with anyone anywhere on the Internet.

I was about 8. It was a music website, which closed down later because so many people were going to the chatroom, and ignoring the rest of the site! It was a very positive experience. I made a lot of online friends, had some arguments (all in good fun i suppose, but i really did hate the girl who kept on starting fights with me).
