I think they are very beautiful and add a lot to the color around my bird feeders and in the trees around the house. They are friendly and trusting, often willing to eat out of hand. They are quite active here, especially in the springtime and will bring their little ones to the feeders when they fledge. I'm also amazed to see them here in NY since they don't originally come from here but I understand that they were introduced many years ago to Long Island and have learned to adapt to the cold winters. I find that fascinating:-)

well they are cute, but I personally like my birds outdoors. I can't stand the noise after awhile.
