That's a great question. I haven't really thought about that since moving to Belgium. I'm gonna have to say riding the train. Everyone is quiet and just staring out the window or reading, so it's a great time to relax. But, now that you have asked this question, I realize that I need more than that. So now, I will look for a special spot! :)

I have a few places to go, one is right here at home alone on the farm. But the favorite place for me, is about a mile walk from here. It is up on top of a bluff along the river. Its a very peaceful place............Plus 5 for your question................M.C.S.

Somewhere that has water. (Sometimes I think I'm part selkie, or something!) I like the ocean the best, but also like to meditate by a river or lake.

Well on weekends i have to visit my father, whose house has a lady ghost in it.

My favorite place to meditatethere is ina rocking chair in the living room. Im trying to develop senses, and i think meditating there is doing that.

After all, the first time i saw colors when meditating was when i was there. At first only purples and green.
Its been a while since then, so now i see red, green, yellow, purple, and blue!

There are great mountains where I am, I love to hike the trails... Its in the country side of southern Japan, so there are random buddhas, temples and shrines along the hiking trails.. and at the top the views are captivating...
Mary Jane makes great company... =)

Augh...if I could just find it. I will be so so happy. Everytime I get going there is something to distract me. Fireants biting the feet is not helpful at all!

Though I haven't had the opportunity to do so in the last 29 years, my favorite place was inside a giant redwood tree when I was living in Santa Cruz, California. That's right, INSIDE a giant redwood tree.

We have a beautiful garden. It has hundreds of trees and plants, and covering the area at the very bottom is an enormous, low-hanging apple tree. Entering this covered area of the garden is similar to entering another world. It backs onto a mass of trees, and then to a field. If you're facing away from the rest of the garden, you could believe you're in the middle of a forest. There's also a small wishing well. I like to position myself somewhere about there to meditate. A family of deer live down there, and the baby of the family often comes to visit.

    :)
