This is a problem that plagues both Windows and Mac operating systems. For some reason, Microsoft did not include network files in their Recycle Bin feature. Since there is a DC, there should be daily backups, which you can restore files from. There are also a number of 'undelete' softwares that can recover deleted files as well. I came across this one the other day, as we also had a few of our users ask the same question you just did : http://www.undelete.com/undelete/undelete.asp
Looking for some recommendations on an Appliance or software that watches network traffic for issues, bad software, and certain traffic.
