Question

Help answer this question below.

I am going on another long plane-ride from Chicago to Korea....any thoughts on how to deal with this ridiculously long ride? Also, how do you deal with jetlag?

    A couple of days before you leave, start going to bed one hour earlier and wake up one hour earlier each day, if possible. If work prevents you from going to bed early, try to do it as early as possible.

    While on the flight, pretend that you're in their timezone. If it is noon there, stay away. If it is one in the morning, go to sleep.

    Bring plenty of books and work and music and whatnot for the plane flight - it is killer. Make sure to get ample rest, but only when you'd be sleeping there!

    Finally, avoid dehydration! It will make you tired at the wrong times.

    Put your watch to local time as soon as you board. However tired you are, do not go to bed until what would be your normal time. Drink plenty of water as little alchohol as you can and keep moving about on board . It does not matter if the cabin attendants look disapproving (they probably will not).To keep the movement in your legs and body will help.
