Has anyone read the book 'Reading Lolita in Tehran'? If so, what did you think of it? Is it appropriate for a 16 year-old?

    I read it recently. Great book. As far as the 16 year old...it depends on the person. I'm 16, though, and I am not scarred for life or anything. I thought it was thought provoking and beautifully tragic. If what you're worried about is the reference to Lolita in the title, a lot of the book does center around the reading of that book, but it's nothing inappropriate. I would recommend it, actually.
