Help answer this question below.

An email is sent from a virus infected computer to 50 people who then forward the message If 20% of the 50 people have 30 people on their contact lists and the other 80% of the 50 have 40 people in their address books, how many computers will be infected

    We can't determine that because we don't know how many people actually OPENED the e-mails (we can't make that assumption either) and we also don't know how many people have anti-viruses that will protect against that specific virus... too many variables missing

    1,951 computers -- assuming that (1) all the contacts get infected and (2) the contact lists do not overlap. I'm also counting the 50 initial contacts plus the original infected computer.
