Interesting, if they disagree with each other then yes. If they agree it must be assissted suicide!
-
NO. Not even if he has multiple personality disorder. Time to call the guys in the WHITE coats. Not SWAT.
-
I think you have a point there.
-
Yes it could No it wouldnt You shut up No you first You are my hostage No Im not.
-
WELL, I hope your dominant personality is not a serial killer. Good luck with that!
-
And which one of you would the S.W.A.T team shoot?
-
lol thats a good one
-
Are you talkin to us?
-
Ummm.... I suppose that depends on which one of us is talking. I'm talking. No you're not, you just got to talk a few minutes ago, It's my turn. You people aren't helping the poor person with their question.... Does any of that matter? I want to make muffins, but MAEVE won't let me. I won't let you do what? Oh fine, go make your freaking muffins. I WANT TO TALK!!!! It's not your turn, Nikki, shut up. Don't tell NIkki to shut up, only I have the authority to do that. No you don't, you can barely take care of yourself, ROSE. You know what? What? UGH!!!!! I, Sgatha, would like to interject by saying here, that, in answer to your question, it really depends on how many personalities there are. What are you talking about, Sgatha? I'm answering the poor person's question. Oh. So anyway, if there are more than two personalities, the person probably will not be able to commit suicide unless they are dominant. Other wise, I would seek help. I like that advise, it's very good. Thank you. Your welcome. Also; I would seek help anyway.
-
No, just weeding out what you don't need any more... if you can't kill it obviously it's strong enough to deserve to survive...
-
ANYONE threating to kill themself should be a hostage situation.
-
Only if he has himself in a headlock and waves a gun around.
-
I'd say it's just you average suicide attempt, seeing as two personalities can't have control of the person at the same time.
-
Perhaps... from the one making the threat, it probably is a hostage situation because one part could be crying no, while the other just wants it over with... To the viewer, not really... I'm not totally sure, but hey, I tried!
-
It is considered a DANGEROUS situation.
-
If he just threatened to kill himself, it wouldn't be murder. (Your wording made the question confusing) If he actually killed himself, it would be a suicide because the murderer killed the victim and himself.
-
It would be a suicide since at one point of time he can have only one personality active. Just like a Processor can execute only one instruction at a time. So it would be suicide since that personality is killing himself. Of course the other personalities would also be ended but still he is only one human. Only one human dies as a result of his own action which is a suicide. :-)
-
one of his sciencetology practising personalities bore the threating personality to tears and finally falls asleep, where it is subdued and treated.
-
Only if you tie yourself up and won't let yourself leave.
-
no its not. it considered scizophrenia. usually the only people you see these days with multi personalitys are scizophrinics. but if they threaten to commit suicide, that would really be a common thing considering their condition and mental state.
-
I'd just hire Denzel Washington......He's the best detective for the job........He did solve "The Inside Man".
-
No, probably because only one personality usually comes out at any given time.
-
i think if u called the cops they would ignore you
-
I believe so and would it make them a serial killer?
-
Lol
-
Hahaha lol nice
-
LOL. WOW. THAT WAS GREAT! LOL. Technically, it would be suicide, for like many people can be their own nemesis, a schizo person can develop a personality that threatens the life of an alter persona, I think.
-
Suicide attempt
-
hehehe this is a quote from somewhere, because i am sure i heard it before... do you now where from?(always funny to hear again!)
-
no
-
They should declare a state of emergency! Schizophrenics should committ suicide because they are nothing but trouble in the community anyway and worst of all - THEY DONT EVEN GET SENT TO PRISON FOR MURDER BECAUSE THEY ARE INSANE!!!!
-
You are not thinking of schizophrenia, but MPD
-
Haha, oh, wow. Umm, I wouldn't think so. It would have to be one person putting another person in the hostage situation. Not a personality. lol. Good question though.
-
i can imagine this...you put yourself in a headlock and with the other hand you wave a gun around in the midst of 40 swat members, and theyre watching you talk to yourself, "im going to shoot him!" no god please im a good person im normal i swear shoot him not me" "i want one million dollar right now!" the cops are going...dear god..i need more coffee. i will be RIGHT back cough cough :) i hate my job.
-
i certainly believe so..every personality has their own characteristics and brain patterns..they come out one at a time but there are personalities that are observers and they see what is going on..since each personality is completely different from the other i believe that one wants to be dead and the others don't..but it's kind of an oxymoron in a way..since mpd comes into play when there is abuse going on..they are manifesting to keep the original person away from it..not to go ahead and kill themselves..does anyone get that? lol
-
No, that would be considered a get your ass to a psychiatrist situation.
-
haha lol yes i think it probably would...wait... yes...it is..as long as the others dont want to die..
-
No, there's no such thing as multiple personalities.... each person has only one brain. It's only psychos think there are more than one person inside of them. But, in a linguistic sense, you are correct.
-
Hmmm, depends on which personality is holding the gun.
-
It's the same body, so no. It's more 'death by dissociation'!
-
Only if one personality takes the other hostage.
-
simple answer, beat him half to death and the other part lives
-
Having worked with the mentally ill... The scitzophrenic has one on you here. Because that is seldom the nature of how the disease exhibits itself. It has at least 30 different classifications. Multiple personalities is only one. and it's kinda rare.
-
Ha.
-
being schizophrenic has nothing to do with dissociative identity disorder which is what you are speaking about. Even then, Dissociative identity disorder really hasn't been proven to existence, most of the patients who claim to have this disease had it suggested to them by their therapist they are just playing roles sadly.
-
Two people working the suicide hotline will be needed
-

-
I think you would want to talk to both personalities.
