Help answer this question below.

Anybody have any ideas for a halloween costume? I'd like to let you know that I'm a young teen, and I do NOT want a sexy costume, they're completely trashy. I'm able to make it by myself, so I'll take any suggestions right about now.

My friend and I (we're teens too) have been doing Halloween together for 3 years now..
First we were runaway 80s Prom Queens - We took her mom's old prom dresses and got all elaborate with makeup and jewelry but we topped it all off with sneakers (hence the 'runaway'). We had a ton of fun doing that one!

Last year we were Christmas presents. - We took cardboard boxes, wrapped them in holiday wrapping paper, got those HUGE bows from walmart for like 70cents, and got Santa hats. The boxes were a bit uncomfortable, but it got a lot of laughs!

This year we decided that we're going to be iPod commercials. You know how all you see is a silhouette dancing with the iPod in white? We're gonna dress in all black and make iPods and little headphones to go with it.

Feel free to use/alter any of these, they were a blast! Good luck! Tell me what you decide on doing(:

Try the pattern books at your local fabric store (or even Wal Mart). They have a lot of easy and creative costumes. If you can wing it without a pattern, looking at a costume catalog should also give you a lot of great ideas.
