Buddhism seeks to release the mind and Spirit from suffering caused by ignorance or lack of peace and love. It seeks to make man master of his own being.
Stoicism encourages man to reconcile with the world about him, replete with its inherent flaws and misdeeds, seeks to align his thinking with factors he is unable to change or are beyond the limits of his abilities to control. It is an applicable tenet to allay the frustrating and constant battling against forces one hadn’t the requisite understanding or fortitude to amend or remedy. An intermediary measure preceding the understanding necessary for man to assume responsibility and control of his own welfare.
If everyone reached enlightenment and were no longer reborn like in the buddhist faith wouldn't the world cease to exist
