  • It seems that there was a big misunderstanding.. You should talk to them and ask them what happened..
  • I would move on if they are not returning your phone calls and emails and such.
  • People do not stop talking just out of the blue one day. Usually, there are either events or reasons leading up to the shut out. It seems as if you are either still young or in school, and if you are a girl, this is the typical mean behaviour of girls. They tend to turn on a dime over the silliest things, and what happens is everyone tends to follow whoever the leader is instead of thinking for themselves. I had this happen to me eons ago in 8th grade. But, there were reasons behind it that I didn't want to accept or admit to. Find at least one person who was in this group of your friends who is more sympathetic or seems to be a peace maker, and ask them what you did wrong to make the group angry. Hopefully, you will get an answer and be able to go from there on repairing things. That is what I did, and I found out why everyone got pissy with me *out of the blue* one day...Good luck :0)
  • So these friends that you had for 18 years would ditch you just because you decided to move to a different college to complete your Masters? That is pretty brutal and DOES sound like something teenage girls do! LOL Unfortunately, I guess you are finding out after 18 years who your friends really are. Seems like a shallow reason to stop talking to someone. And, obviously, something DID happen, so your assumption that nothing different had happened was wrong. So, I guess we both are guilty of making assumptions. I am sure you will have no problem making some new friends where you are headed.
