I'd say Frasier did pretty well for a spin-off, probably the most successful spin-off ever, but Cheers was a classic, and produced so many big-name actors that it has to be looked at as more successful.

I loved Cheers and watched it all the time when I was a kid, even though we weren't really allowed to. I liked Frasier, but never really got into it as much.
