If you think it will make you feel better or not "be bad", then go ahead. Personally, I've never found "worrying" to accomplish much of anything for me, so I've given it up. Of all of the bad habits I've given up, that one was by far the most liberating. Tell your wife that you trust her -- and mean it -- and that you want her to have fun -- and mean that, too -- then you have a good time being good while she's gone. (I particularly liked the part about the "old school" reunion, even though I understand you didn't write it in quite the same way that I read it.)
