Slots, shows, and seeing the lights of the casinos. Go there a few times a year, and its a place that is always developing & growing. Downtown is a dump, but it does offer the Fremont Light show, and bargains on sovenirs & food. One of the casinos down there had a pool that was amazing. It was part aquarium and had fish in it, but on the other section there was a slide you could go through so it looked like you were swimming with the fishes. The Bellagio has a Fountain display w music to see. The Stratosphere view is amazing. Venetian a gondola ride if you want one, cheaper than getting on one in Venice. The Rio is interesting; not sure if its the Rio, but they have a electric parade on the ceiling. If you just spend your day going from casino to casino on the strip , you'll get your money's worth visually. If you think of winning, well thats awhole different matter...have fun! :)

I always visit the exotic fabric shops, and the rock shop with all the wonderful rocks, and it used to be the Star Trek exhibit, but that's gone now. I used to enjoy visiting the shops in the Aladdin, that was just like an 18th century Mid Eastern Bazaar, but that's gone now too. I have to just be content to visit the modern shops in the Venetian.
