Help answer this question below.

I am tryinig to plan a skiing trip to colorado (traveling from so. cali) for Hotel + flight roundtrip for around $550/person...and it seems like they are all at least $1100 a person unless commute from Denver to the ski resort. Any suggestions?

    look into joining a ski club. They offer a bunch of discounts and will usually give the club a better rate because they book rooms in bulk. Also, if you can, look on Wed or Thurs online. Sometimes you can get better deals during the week. Also, if you can travel during those times but dont return on a sunday. Like maybe a wed to a mon. try that out.

    During peak season for skiing, where did you determine $550 per person for anything more than one night--especially if you plan to go to Aspen or Vail.

    Your roundtrip airfare will be AT LEAST half that amount (but more than likely the entire amount) and then a room in Aspen, etc. would be the other half--leaving nothing for food, lift tickets, etc
