I loooooooooooove to read. And since I've "discovered" books on cd, I've doubled my "reading" pleasure by keeping a book going in my car and ipod'ing a bunch of books.
I definitely enjoy reading...I just wish I had more time to read things other than text books and homework.
I love reading and usually have a few books going at once, as well as audibles in the car.
I love to read, which is funny because when I was younger I had such a hard time making myself read the required reading in schools. I was even picked for reading groups in elementary school because I was smart, but I had no interest so I dropped out of it. Now, I love it. I like to read true crime, mostly. I also like thriller-type novels. Occasionally I do also like to read self-help books. I don't have to agree with everything in them, but I can take at least one positive thing from each book. I'm also an MLB fan, so any book about the history of MLB is one that might interest me. Very occasionally I do read books of a political nature, usually since I have bought the book largely to support the cause.
I tutor a first grade student through a reading program that brings the class to my place of employment. My student said that her favorite day of the week is when she comes to read with me, because she loves it.
Reading has brought more satisfication for me than watchin TV so I do love to read. I'm glad I settled down in time to pick up a book because grabbing a book to read is the best thing you could do for yourself. Ever since I begun to read on my own I found it easier to concentrate, think/understand, and speak. You could say it cut the chains that restrained my mind.
Currently reading CHOKE by Chuck Palahniuk, Memoirs of a Geisha (Arthur Golden) and studying Arabic.
I absolutely positively love reading. Books are not a hobby to me, they are a very important part of my life. I am lucky enough to work near a charity shop where they sell 5 books for a pound, so I have quite a big library at home of books waiting to be read. I hardly ever buy new ones. I don't know what I would do without books, I'd have to start watching TV.
I read daily, hourly, this last two months I have read " An echo in the bone" by Diana Gabaldon "Under the dome" by Stephen King, lots of non fiction and "Salt and Silver" by Anna Katherine. I like Kelley Armstrong and Kim Harrison, but also Vicki Petterson. and Charlaine Harris. I just finished Laurell Hamilton's Fae book, she drags it out. I love Karen Marie Moning's Fae series. v. intense.
I reserve an hour a day for reading.
I love to read... Not a hobbie anymore, but a real vice... =)
Don't like so much e-books and audio-books, tho... There's nothing I enjoy more than holding a REAL book while I'm reading...
i love to read but i never have the time,,,
I am a total bookaholic. If I don't read for a day, I start shaking, and I cannot concentrate. I really think that if you took all reading material away from me, I would be just as bad as a junkie without drugs.
i love it but with 2 babies, it's almost impossible to do it these days! it will have to wait.
i loveto read as long as i am actually interested the book
reading is MY ENJOYMENT
Love to read! Do it daily .. James Patterson, Danielle Steele .. aaah I love good books!
i love to read .i hated to read in 1st grade but now i am an adult and i love to read .ever since i was in the 2nd grade i began to read and adored it
I also love to read, pretty much anything really! i dislike audio books though, i get distracted and stop listening, i think i need writing to engage my concentration!
I love reading. The older and dustier the book the better. As a kid I used to wonder what was in the scrolls and texts that were lost in the fire that destroyed the library of Alexandria. Today, most of the bookmarks I have (in my favorites on my computer) are to bookstores, libraries and universities.
I like reading...magazines. :]
(and books too)
i love reading too.
but part of my love of reading is reading it my self from word to word on sheet
but thats just me
my favorite book so far is new moon and i cant wait for the 3rd one
I love to read books, magazine, newpapers, online. Anything I can get my paws on.
YES. I read a book a week almost, even with friends and school and hobbies and everything, I always read a few hours before bed ^^
Coount me in...but as I rent more movies..Blockbuster.com....I have less free time to curl up. It hasn't stopped me from buying books though and my unread stack has gotten ridiculous.
I absolutely love to read!!! You'll hardly ever see me without my nose buried in a book. My friends say I read way too much but if I had the time to read even more...I would!
I'm constantly reading (and I have been since I was just a kid).
I attribute it to my dad reading to me before I had learned how.
I read one book every week. Its a fantastic way to pass the time.
I LOVE to read. Cant put some books down. Read on the bus to work, the bus home, lunch time, while I wait for a TV show to begin and before turning the light out for the night and saying my prayers (which are in a book....of course) :)
I've loved to read since I was a child. There's an old Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock episode where a man chooses to be isolated surrounded by thousands of filled bookcases and suddenly realizes, to his horror, that he doesn't have his glasses. I felt his pain.
I love reading. It takes us out of the real world for a little while. I love James Patterson and V.C. Andrews.
I love reading!!! I like to read at bedtime, get sucked into a good book and think about something otther my life so I can sleep!! Works great and I great a story!! Unless of course it's the END of the book then it keeps me UP!!!!!!!!
I enjoy reading, whether it be the questions or answers on answerbag, newspapers, magazines etc. Not too much into reading novels though.

I always read.. Ever since I was a kid. I especially loved children's literature: little women, Robinson crusoe, a little princess etc.
Teen literature is kind of dissapointing, now I just stick with non fiction. In many ways real life is so much more interesting than fiction, escpecially nowadays with all this crazy stuff going on.
A Pearl in the Storm was a good one.
I love reading, but I would love to have more time, I am a slow reader, and I would love to have people around telling me what books they think are good or not...coz it is difficult for me to find a book according to my tastes...
I absolutely LOVE to read. If I have nothing to do, I read. I dont care what it is, I still read it. What got me hooked to reading was J.K. Rowlings "Harry Potter".
I absolutely love to read...i read all the time! It rarely matters the sourse or the genre, i actually just got a book today! it's Blood promise by Rachelle Mead. From the Vamp Academy series. it's the last in the series. if youre into vamps you should read it, it's a really good series.
reading is definitly a hobbie that i enjoy. I can read for hours and never get boared, I LOVE IT!.
My husband and I are both avid bibliophiles. Our collection has grown to the point that we are adding-on to our home. Finally, we will have our very own bibliotheca.
While I enjoy reading, nothing beats having my husband read to me. We take turns at bedtime reading to each other. He has asked that I stop reading "World War Z" to him. Gee, can't imagine why, I found that book fascinating. So now I'm reading "The Hedgehog, the Fox, and the Magister's Pox" to him instead. He's reading "Lord of the Rings" to me. He's English.. he does the voices. Life couldn't be sweeter.
Reading is a lifelong love of mine, urged upon me by my mother at an early age.
i dont love it, but i do like to read [good books]
Me! Me! I love to read! I read so much that all the librarians know me by sight, and most of them have known me by name for years. I read really fast, too, so I tend to bring home huge piles of books and bring them all back within a week, with almost all of them read. My parents tell me I read too much. I don't read as much as I did a few years ago, though. One summer I read 100 books in 3 months for a library reading contest. Yes, I went a little overboard there....LOL.
Yes, I absolutely love to read. No matter how tired I am, I will usually read for an hour before bed. Sometimes, I get so wrapped up in a book that I stay up way too late!
I love to read. Since I have a very vivid imagination, I am able to immerse myself into the story and play it out, like a movie, in my head. I sometimes get so lost in a book that I will lose all track of time and read a whole book in a few hours.

I love to read, especially all the questions and answers on AB.
-raises hand-
Finshed "Les Miserables" a few weeks ago, was working on "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame" but I'm taking a break and reading "The Prince" by Machiavelli now.
i love to read i like to read lord of the rings books and sad ones
I love to read and I am glad that you do. All leaders are readers. Through reading we open ourselves to new worlds and ideas and we grow. Keep reading.

AND the cheapest. My husband looked at me a little funny the other day when I brought home five more cd books from my local library. He's like "don't you alREADY have a million books checked out?" I: back off! You want me to go back to knitting. (Knitting, he knows, is expensive so he shut up. Lol.)

Lol, nice

I usually buy one book a week unless i am in one of my "gotta have all the authors books" phases as I was with Steven King, Dan Brown, Faye Kellerman, James Patterson, J.R. Ward, and now Patricia Cornwell. And I STILL havent finished all the collections. I hope to be reading until I die!
by Sarita1 Goes Bollywood on December 29th, 2006
I too hope to keep my eyesight to read until I die. My Mom had a stroke at 68 and doesn't read as much as before (a book a day), but the good news is that she doesn't miss it like she would have before the stroke. Sad. I'm struggling my way through a Cornwell right now. Not nearly the page turner of a Patterson.

p.s. I'd love to learn to knit--didn't know it was expensive!
by Little Miss Dangerous on January 6th, 2007
Heehee! It is like any American passion. You can learn for cheap...but...who wants a cheap sweater? (Lol. Half kidding. But once you get into it, you find yourself buy more and more expensive stuff.) I wish I were there. I can teach an adult to knit in less than an hour! Find an old knitter lady!
