My teacher says "don't wear anything to school that you wouldn't want to see all of your teachers in." Do you agree with this, or do you think kids should be able to wer whatever they want?

    When I was in high school I didnt care , I wanted to wear what I wanted, but not I am older and maturer, I believe this is a good thing.

    I don't know. What if I was a hot bi-sexual girl and had the hots for my female English teacher; dreamming of seeing her all slutted up? Sounds like that could backfire.

    Perhaps this teacher is a rare relic of the old type who actually tried to inculcate character and other livelong assets upon the students. The point that the teacher is making is that what you wear makes an impression. The teachers are respected professionals, or are at least supposed to be, and that is why you expect them not to look like a bunch of clowns. Therefore, if you wish to take on successful habits at an early age, especially in a learning or work environment, do not dress like a clown.

    I agree. I think that the girls today go way to far with the things they wear. At my school you can see almost all of the girls breats, and the shorts they wear expose their butts about halfway up. They are litterally wering underwear to school, and I don't want to see that. Even some of the things the boys wear are terrible. Boys pull their pnts down below their butts, and nobody finds that attractive.

    I'd have liked to have seen all of my teachers dressed as Stormtroopers (the Star Wars type, not nazis, although at my secondary school it might have been more accurate to put some of my teachers in jack boots!).
    They really are asking for trouble from people like me!

    I think it's a good suggestion - though limited.

    It wouldn't have kept me from waring torn jeans and a teeshirt - but I can see some of the slutty outfits some girls wear these days might be cut back on.

    Basically there needs to be a reasonable measure of mutual respect.
