Question

Help answer this question below.

I have two ferns that have been hanging outdoors all summer. They are in really good shape so I'm thinking about bringing them inside for the winter.
What can I do to make sure I'm not bringing bugs into the house along with the ferns?

Fill your sink with 5 to 10 gallons of luke warm water. Get a bar of Dove, Lever 2000, or Ivory. Take the soap and work it around between your hands in the sink water until it is slightly cloudy (visibly cloudy, make sure the water is mixed well to make this determination). Grab a clean water bottle and fill it with this water. Lightly mist your ferns with this until they look like their covered in dew. Walla, no buggies!
