Another one of my pet peeves! What gets me is when people use an apostrophe to form the plural, as in: "Two school's were closed."

LOL. Cute. Nah, it doesn't <cough cough> drive me nuts <more coughing> when people don't <ahem> know how or when to use apostrophES. If it did, I would've passed on this question, LOL.

Ohhh, I'm a repeat offender of this crime! It's just become a really bad habit that I am constantly pulling myself up on and trying to correct. It drives a lot of people nuts, so you aren't alone there. Maybe all of the people who do it (like me) could star in a Broadway production, entiled The Erroneous Apostrophe: The Musical! ;)
