  • I raised four sons and this is not an unusual thing to happen. Make sure he isn't feeling left out in some way and explain to him that he and his sister will be great friends some day when she is bigger. Tell him that he is the big brother and he has to show his sister a good example of how people are supposed to be good and loving. Don't make it sound too heavy or he won't get it. Just keep reinforcing that and have it apply to other kids as well. Good luck. Parenting is definitely not easy. But it is well worth it all.
  • hes is clearly jealous of your 6th month old i would suggest paying a little more attention to your son and to do things with the baby , for example read to both of them at the same time watch tv and find games which both of them can do.
  • My son is also 3 and he is going through the same thing and I have taught him to hug and not to hit. I have told him this over and over and he has not had a bad report from school since his last incident about 3 months ago.
