Help answer this question below.

I have an old PS2 and when I insert GT4 into the PS2, it seems to load for about 2 to 3 minutes. When it finally stops, it brings up a message saying 'please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disc. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

I have that same problem. I'll put in a PS2 game and it takes a while to load, then says "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disc". I haven't tried cleaning the laser or anything, so that may be the problem. Maybe you should try that?

I have a fat ps2. The disk tray is jammed halfway open and will not open or close fully. I tried to re-align it, but it doesn't move. Help?
