AB is one thing. Personally, I LOATHE reading text-message-type Qs and Answers. To me it's a sign of laziness and not caring. More often than not, I simply skip them. A letter to an organization or company asking for assistance or inquiring about a position is an entirely different matter. IF I received an e-mail or letter as you described, from someone asking for help or assistance, I PROMISE you it would go into the paper shredder. AND I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Why? You get one opportunity to make a favorable or great impression! DON'T louse it up! You WILL be sorry. Your computer has ALL the tools you need to produce a professional-looking product. Use them. If your computer doesn't have those tools, ask someone with a computer with those tools if you can use their computer OR go to the library and use one of those computers.
