  • I don't listen to hip hop and don't know what "juice" they're referring to, so this may be a stupid answer. I've been occasionally drinking gin and orange juice (screwdriver) gin and cranberry juice (I think a cape cod) and gin and grapefruit juice since the '60s. So maybe gin and juice ain't no new thing. +5
  • probably lol drink mixtures don't need to be taught
  • Probably not. The same could be said for Courvasier (sp?). "Back in the day" famous singers would sing songs/write jingles about liquors to help get them popular.
  • Yup, but I believe that that type of thing was, and I could be wrong, already popular but only in certain areas and for certain economic groups. If you havent already noticed, peope who have less money drink or comgine different drinks, not to mention eat different food than someone who may be middle class or rich. But I'm sure not alot of people knew about it before, and even know, you hear rappers talking about things (new drugs, new combinations of drugs and drinks, sex postions, new dances) that people didnt know before.
  • huh? wtf? ummmmmmm no. Sheep will always drive that economy, yo.
  • I never liked hip hop, but loved the bluegrass version of the song by The Gourds.
  • Just to what the big deal was, I tried it once. Man it was nasty! Neither taste complimented eachother. Makes me wonder how many people forced themselves to like it.
  • Yep. Back in the day in England 'gin punch' (and gin anything for that matter) was very popular. eww!!
