Will Homer share his glory with anyone else besides Marge? When we pray the Hail Lisa - currently changed...who reformed it and why? Why didn't the Mayor of Springfield reformed too? So could it be concluded that Maggie's prayer is'nt definate like Flanders?

Romans 8:29-30 (NLT) For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his GLORY.

John 17:22 (NIV) I have given them the GLORY that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one...

Pretty much sounds like the "glory" is shared around, to me......

    Peace Truth and Love :-)

Not for me to say how God will spread the glow around. However, the "Hail Mary" and the "Our Father" differ from each other in that the first lines to 'Hail', are a repetition of the greeting given to the pregnant Mary by the even more pregnant Saint Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist (As Mary approached, the child inside Elizabeth wriggled with joy, and Elizabeth said, Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus). The rest of the prayer was tacked on later.
The 'Lord's Prayer' was Jesus' response to someone who asked, "How should we pray?" The entire prayer is His reply; the Protestants later added, "for Thine are the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever, Amen."
The original (now the Roman Catholic) version ends with the words, "but deliver us from evil". There is no Amen after because, according to the Gospels, Jesus continued right on from there with the rest of His sermon.
