I have a 2005 cobalt, every time i open my door/trunk the alarm goes off and it wont stop til the key is in the ignition. Help please!

have a 99 ford explorer 2 door.the only way i can start it i press the unlock button on the alarm remote then i can start.wont work anymore

What I would prefer would be a hidden GPS device that could locate the car at the convenience of law enforcement - hopefully after it was parked or ran out of gas.
