Unless you notice a problem from parasites, it's just not usually a concern. If you keep them and their cage clean, feed good quality food, you probably won't have a problem. If you are concerned ever about it, just take a fecal sample to your vet and have them run a test on it. As far as vaccinations go, I've never been big on them. If you live in an area that has a problem with Myxomatosis you might want to look into it. But other than that, just good care and healthy diet should be enough to keep them safe.
