No spirits cant make people leave the house, but the constant fear of the spirits can. For some people living in unison with a spirit is impossible due to the nature of the spirit, or their view of the paranormal.

Fear of the ghosts can make people leave. I've run out of a kitchen several times from fear of the spiritual world.

No, I lived with a ghost from birth till I was 11 and the ghost wasn't the reason my parents moved house. I miss her though.

If people don't believe in ghost or don't have a haunting then they can't. If ghosts are real and malacious they could actually make a person leave. I almost left my house when the tv turned on by itself and our tv doesn't have a timer either.

I never ever believed in such stuff before I lived in this house. Even now I am ever trying to find reasonable explanations to things. But I can't help being a little worried when in just one week, the TV switched itself on, as did the gas fire (which is quite difficult to do for me), and the bedroom light when we were asleep on several occasions. Also then lounge door closed in front of my eyes (not at all indy and windows were all closed). Pictures are constantly being moved on their hooks so they hang at an angle, objects are often not where you put them. Wardrobe doors open themselves when locked shut. We have footsteps upstairs all the time, and random bangs. Several phones turn themselves off even though battery is full. We heard someone whistling in the house the other day, and very strange smells. I am flexible as to what this is, but I challenge anyone to tell me that this is normal!! :-)
