What would be the consequences my husband and i would be in for if we give my 24 year old stepson a car to drive but keep the tag and title in our name but our stepson is not on our policy and lives in another state

If he is involved in an accident then it will be on you. You can be sued and also your insurance will be responsible. Don't do it! Mr Bill
