How long does it take to physically/mentally recover from tonsil removal surgery? Will my condition be restored in 5 days? Thanks.

It takes up to 2 weeks to completely recover.

I had my tonsils removed as an adult and I can tell you it was the most painful recovery ever! It took 2 weeks to feel OK. In hindsight, I never would have had it done.

IT will take about 2 weeks to comletely recover. However to improve your condition there are certain things you can do like gargling with mild salt water, use a humidifier when you sleep, etc
