  • See the hole cards.
  • I have trouble with this question. On the one hand you can be holding 79 offsuit and know the board will be 67998 and you will be able to pull down a massive pot and use your skills to extract maximum value. On the other hand if you could see all the other players hole cards you would know where you stand throughout the entire hand and only really have to worry about getting unlucky with a big preflop allin scenario or get unlucky on the river card. I would choose power number 2 because I think it meshes better with my style and knowledge of the game.
  • Be able to see every player's hole cards.
  • see what the other players have.
  • everyone who said hole cards needs to rethink this... knowing the f,t,and r would be much more beneficial... for example you would greatly minimize lost chips... for example often times in poker you would raise an a k or k q.. but if you knew 6 7 8 9 or four of the same suits were coming out you could easily fold and not lose the chips you would have... also hands you would normally fold, like an 8 2 offsuit you could call and earn a lot if you knew a 5 6 8 8 2 would come out... if you only knew the hole cards you would still be susceptible to bad beats... for example, you have pocket 4's your opp. has pocket 3's wouldn't you rather know if a 4 was coming beforehand than get stomped by a 3 on the river?
  • On the whole, I would rather see the other players' hole cards. Both will obviously yield huge rewards, but the deciding factor for me is that if you can know the flop, turn and river in advance and end up playing a lot of stupid hands like 7-3o because you know they will hit the board, your opponents will become very suspicious of you and should walk away from the table... with no opponents left, your money making abilities become very limited!!! If however you can just see their hole cards, then you will still only be playing good starting hands and the pots you win will appear to the table to be good reads on your opponents and good bluffing; you will not look end up looking like a cheat as with the other option, and so your money making opportunities will not dry up as players run away from you!
  • I see why some are saying to know the community cards, but I think I'd go with knowing the hole cards. Once the Flop, Turn and River are dealt, you'll know exactly where you stand and can bet big or small accordingly. It would also protect your hand against bad beats, where you could easily lose your whole stack.
  • I think I would prefer (from a money making standpoint) to be able to see all of my opponents' hole cards. This would help you know where you were at any time in the hand and help you to make the right bets and laydowns when your opponent is on a draw or the other way around. As long as you control the pot size, you can be assured that you can put in a good value bet on the river or if the cards aren't so nice, make a "disciplined" fold with the second best hand. Knowing what the board is going to be could work against you because maybe you have 72o but you know it's going to come 772A4 but your opponent has AA and you think your boat is golden. For that reason, I say hands down that knowing your opponents' holdings is more advantageous than knowing the board in advance.
