  • Does it get stiff when you pump your brakes? If so then master cylinder is leaking around seals. Time to replace. When replacing bench bleed master cylinder it will save time and headaches. Put new master cylinder in a vise or some other way to hold it still. Take a screw driver and push in the plunger all the way. Add brake fluid to reservoirs and let out plunger slowly. Cover hose connestions on the side with some type of wrap and I use platic wrap with a rubber band around it to stop air from entering the master cylinder. After master cylinder has been replaced go to the right rear wheel to start the bleed off. Then the left and the the right front and then the left front. Mr Bill
