Help answer this question below.

How do you change the default e-mail program in internet explorer? I use yahoo e-mail and whenever I try to send a link windows e-mail comes up.

    Scrappy's answer is incorrect-all it does is to change your homepage. I too have the same problem - i.e I get Windows Live instead of BT-Yahoo when I hit the Mail button. I did not have this problem with IE7. This despite BT Yahoo set as my mail client in Internet Options

    Type in essiantials in the start menu search box.. and download windows live, it'll give you a choice of options for just the mail choose mail. Once you have the program installed you can choose whatever mail server you want. I set roadrunner up on mine for business purposes. NOTE: you do not have to have windows live account to make this work it pretty much looks like outlook on steroids when you have it. I actually like it alot and am thinking of installing all three of my e-mail servers on it.

    Type in essentials in start menu search, download the the live mail, once you have that program you can use any e-mail server you want just make sure you set your default mail server that you want. note: you do not have to have Windows Live to make it work.
