You're reading In this day and age , where we are socially trying to give equal rights to everyone (ie. women, gay couples, ethnic groups, elderly, etc.,) why is it that the first thing the courts want to take away is our 4th amendment rights? Shouldn't that be illegal?
Comments
To whoever downrated my answer - presumably the questioner,
I don't know what my Fourth Amendment right is because only the United States has a Fourth Amendment to its Constitution giving whatever rights it gives. I don't know what those rights are because I'm not a citizen of the United States.
I answered flippantly because the question, like many others here, assumes everybody who uses the site to be American, and we are not. This question isn't even in a specifically US category. If you have a question that is specific to the USA you should say USA instead of our.
