  • Christianity started after Jesus was crucified. Up until then Jesus and his followers were a Jewish sect. I think many would agree that St. Paul was the founder of Christianity and he didn't even know Jesus.+5

  • From what I understand of it, Jesus was jewish. Christianity is based on the belief that Jesus was the son of God. That he preformed the many miracles that he did. Jews believe he existed, but he was just a great man. If I am wrong, please correct me!

  • Christianity didn't really "start" with Jesus. Until a few years after his crusifixion, christianity was a jewish sect who belived Jesus was the predicted messiah. Only after it grew in numbers and reputation did it become known as a new religion.
  • Apparently, the Jews roamed the Middle East for sometime getting in trouble everywhere they went. At some point, a few of them came up with a brilliant idea of writing this supposely holy book where they self-appointed themselves as god's chosen, of course, they did this to instill fear and control the rest of the tribes. Apparently, that didn't go all that well for them and they scraped the idea but a bunch of other idiots came along and swallowed the story whole - line, hook and sinker - and the rest is history
  • Jesus church/ HIS body did not begin till Day of Pentecost...All prophecy of HIM had to be Full filled and it was with HIS ASCENSION...jewish had nothing more to do with it ..even the ones who BELIEVED on Pentecost Day , 3,ooo, were probably mostly JEWISH...as this day was a religious time and full of peoples from all languages, thus being ,the Apostles with the Holy Spirit's help, spoke in tongues/the many languages there, so all could hear and understand....so Peter opened up Jesus church/ HIS body to the many that joined it that day....there were many Jewish and Gentile who belived in HIM before this day and after this day...Jewish no longer mattered, Jesus opened Salvation for all , JEW and GENTILE...
