If you had a fatal illness, would you want the doctor (s) to tell you how long you had to live so you could make proper arrangements (Will, etc) & do what you wanted to do while you still could, or would you prefer not to know & take it a day at a time?

You kidding me? Road trip! I'd take myself off to America, see all my friends i have never met, then get my arse to Berlin where I would blow it all on hardcore drugs and booze. If I am going, I am going on my terms, my way

I wouldn't take one doctors guess at how long I had to live. They can however give you an accurate evalutation how advanced your disease has progressed and how fast it is progressing. I know of 4 people that were given 6 months to live, and they are still alive many years later. So doctors don't know anything for sure, thats why they keep "practicing medicine". If you are a Christian, or boy/girl scout, you should always be prepared with a will, etc. And if you don't get to do the things that you wanted to do before you die, then it wasn't meant to be to do those things.

I would want to know. But I would do what I could health food wise and holistic care to prove him wrong!!

I would want to know a RANGE time wise. I am well prepared legally, but would like to be able to do some other things and spend money or sell/give things to some people I would otherwise hold onto if I were not dying. And that could take some time to do all of that.

its impossible to accurately prodict how long ur gonna live. i realy dont want to no becuz then i wouldn't enjoy it as much if i did becuz i u do no when ur gonna die then plus if i learned that i was gonna die i would have made a will rite there

Well based on if the doctors were correct, i would rather not know, because it could make you waste your last days worrying, and if they were wrong and you go on a financial binge, and you surpass expectations, then your gonna come back into life broke.
