  • You are running into the age old question of how to allocate resources amongst a large group of people who have their own agendas and timelines. Not uncommon, but with proper planning, it can succeed. One team member needs to take charge and create timelines that are adhered to for time alloted on equipment. Not all of your members are going to be on the same pace, and therefore if everyone submits their plan, the team leader can make an analsis of the resources needed and assign the amount of time they will have access to equipment. Then every week, each person is required to update their timeline(s)with benchmarks so if the overall scheme of the master plan needs to change, it can be done effortlessly. I'd also suggest, that the master plan, with everyones timeline segments be posted, so you can easily look to see if there is time left open so you can opt in for it, or make a trade for time. Everyone will succeed this way, projects will be delivered on time, and your employer will be impressed. I'd even give access to your boss(s) so they can also view results and a weekly recap is not necessary. Best of luck to you and associates
