Brembo is a specialist company which produces braking systems which are usually "aftermaket", (although some vehicles may have "Brembo's" fitted as standard).

Aftermarket parts are those parts which are not fitted as standard.on the vehicle you would buy from the showroom

So usually fitting high performance brakes in this case may mean stripping off the standard braking system and replacing it with a "Brembo " one...
