Have you noticed any real difference between the fairly new "lithium" batteries and the good "alkaline" batteries as far as performance and how long they last?

I can't back up my answer but it seems to me that the lithium has a longer life span. I think the real benefit in using the lithium is that it is smaller but powerful, allowing smaller product design. I had to buy one the other day for my cell phone. Ow! - The price is ridiculous.

lithium batteries is green battery , it have not memory effects , your can charge it at any time.
