It "could" be Tendonitis, that hurts alot. Does it hurt when you move your elbow or all the time?

Too much typing?? That really can do it! Or it can be from otherwise using that arm or a muscle in that arm or your hand even too much. It causes the muscles and tendons to get warm and inflamed abit and ache. Try ice on it - 15 mins on on a towel, and 2 hours off, and take an over the counter anti-inflamitory drug like Advil or Motrin. If it spreads or you get numb feelings into your hand or fingers, see a doctor. Otherwise if you REST IT and fdon't do things (typing is one) that use all of the lower and mid muscles of the arm, it should self resolve/go away in a day or two. If not, see your doctor.

See, my answer from just now to the person with tingling, numbness in hand. Could be T.O.S. All of the nerves on the way to the elbow, arm, hand must first pass through the thoracic outlet. Probably the most common annoyance I see from people on my massage table. Rarely does anyone talk about T.O.S.
