  • Cancel some of the utilities and eat out alone. Or at least stop buying stuff she likes or stuff she calls her own, until she remembers please and thank you. Joke. Seriously, has she always been mean, or is this just her feeling useless and needing to act like you and the place would fall down without her, just so she doesn't feel so hopelessly dependent on you? Give her chores, duties, stuff she can think only she can do right. Build up her ego a bit, maybe.
  • well i think some of it is steming from the fact that i wont be supporting her much longer because i am buying a house and getting married soon
  • I'm sure there's far more to the story, like who pays rent/mortgage payments, who does the chores, the cooking the cleaning, the laundry, etc, but the main thing here is that no one should be calling you at work unless there's an emergency. Your grandmother needs to know that you could get in serious trouble with your employer if you're constantly being harassed from home. If I were you I'd be looking for a way out of that house ASAP.
