Why is it that some Americans think that USA is God's nation, the best country in the world, etc? Isn't that ignorant?

There's nothing wrong with being proud of your country, but some people do take it to extremes. :)

So they are patriotic - I don't have a problem with that. Here in the UK we get called racist for flying the flag of St George and generally trying to be British so long may the US state their pride. However, sometimes I do get frustrated that our Government and others around the World seem to kowtow to the Americans as if they are something special - I guess we sold are ar*^&s during the 2nd World War and now we're held to ransom..... Sorry I just went completely off track and ranted...Lol
