Why is gas price in the US $4 a gallon at $97 pbarrel , when in january 2008, the price was $3 a gallon and the barrel of oil was selling at $100 pbarrel. On top of being ripped off by the Oil company now we are getting shafted by the gasoline pump owner

    Yarnlady is happy every day

    Because you can choose where you will buy gas, the pump owner must charge the lowest price he possible can. If his supplier is not lowering the price, he cannot lower his price, or you can simply go somewhere else.

    The whole gasoline fiasco is am American tragedy of greed and corruption, but not at the local level.
