I don't know what you mean, WoOZackWoO. To me, the 80's were more conservative as a whole than today.

The GOP right-wing extremists have taken charge..McCain has rolled over..that's why he chose Palin..they have a death grip on the GOP. Everyone is scared to death of them because, well, if you cross them, you're gonna suffer hellfire and damnation and roast in he** for eternity. Who is brave enough to take that on? :(
