Is there a simple circuit that will remove the color content from a composite video output of a miniature color security camera. I want to turn a color camera picture into black and white picture without adjusting the color t.v set or camera.

Assuming we are talking about U.S. T.V. standards, you might be able to get away with using simple LC band-stop filter (aka notch filter) tuned to the NTSC color subcarrier at 3.579545 MHz. You can find a filter circuit primer here: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_2/chpt_8/6.html
