Does any one else like the song 'My Name Is Mud' by Primus ? I really like it and I was wondering if there were any other good songs by them?

I love that song. Hubby and I heard when it first came out and he went out and bought the 'cassette tape' - that's how long ago it was. lol. I can't say I'm familiar with Primus otherwise. Don't they also do the theme for South Park?

I have wondered this as well. I remember Primus playing this song at Woodstock and having mud thrown at them. Oh man that's classic and funny. I know they still make music.. whether its good.. who knows.

Oh yes. You might want to pick up "Sailing the seas of cheese" to start. They have a good selection.

'My Name is Mud' is a great song, and 'John the Fisherman' is even better!

Lacquer Head is another song along the same lines as My Name is Mud

A couple of other good ones are Tommy The Cat, Mr. Krinkle, Jerry Was A Race Car Driver, Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, Anti-Pop, and their version of The Devil Went Down To Georgia, which is already a great song, but Primus puts a new twist on it.
