Help answer this question below.

My one eye is red in the corner and it has been for over a week.Its not sore until at night. THen it starts watering really bad.

    Well, that's where some of your numerous tear ducts are, and also a place alot of people rub when their eyes itch or burn. If you have allergies, that area is often sore and red.

    If you use the computer alot, it is probably a symptom of strained, dry eyes, and lubricating eye drops like "Nature's Tears" would help. Soaking your eyes with a warm washcloth 2-3 x a day is very soothing also. Also, take a BREAK from AB and other computer use during the day and night. It's like watching TV up close for hours if you don't, and will strain anyone's eyes!

    If the drops and soaking don't help, or if the white part of your eye is pink and irritated looking, burns alot, is constantly tearing (called irritation tears), has alot of little red veins showing, or feels scratchy or like there is something in it, see any eye doctor ASAP, since this could be a corneal abrasion or Herpes Simplex 1 of the eye, or something else that needs medical evaluation or attention. If it is Herpes Simplex 1 it needs drops ASAP to kill the virus. If left untreated, it can lead to blindness.

    Don't take chances with your eyes.

    my eye is red in the corner too an it happend last week for like 2 days then it went away an today it came back an its alot more of my eye is red...... so could it be because of the make up???

    Could be conjunctivitis. Get some drops from the doctor. Usually ciprofloxin will kill anything in the eye. Don't mess around with your eye, go to an opthomatrist. Did I spell that right?
    Make sure you finish all the drops, even if it is better, because it may come back if you don't. Think of antibiotics as something that does not really kill anything, it just stops if from having babies, so you need to take it until the disease dies of old age. This is why you would take all of the meds until they are done. I know you had this last year/month, but if anyone needs the answer it will be here. (what did your doctor say, or what did you do?-how is it now?)
