Not at all. when you chuck the used cotton bud in the bin, the cockroaches eat up the tasty ear wax, use the spun cotton to line their nests and discard the white stick. As they grow, they secrete a sticky enzyme that frequently gets stuck around the top of sticks. Cornershop owners short of a few items to sell simply gather up the fresh cockroach lollipops from under the floor boards at the back of their shops. Glad you asked :-)
