Help answer this question below.
I have several friends in the airline industry (on the front lines) and they say that is one area there are no budget-cutbacks. They fly their own airline and would not do so if they saw any indication of skimping.
It wouldnt suprise me in the least.
I fail to see how 'skimping on safety checks' would help an airline to remain solvent. Rather, skimping on fuel despite the rising girth of the passengers would be more like it! Only joking!;)
